Logic II Visits the FBI

Our Logic II class studied how the FBI uses logic to protect the USA from terrorist and foreign intelligence threats.

Students at FBI

Yesterday we went on a field trip to the FBI. It was very fun. When we arrived, we were greeted by a former FBI agent and given badges. After watching a short film about past cases, we got to stroll around the museum.

I enjoyed learning about all the different types of people who work at the FBI. If I worked for the FBI, I would want to help design uniforms.

There was even an exhibit about past mysteries. One of the most fascinating mysteries was a family where the parents were Russian spies and their kids didn't know! The kids must have been so surprised when they realized their parents weren't normal.

The field trip wrapped up with a demonstration of the test that prospective FBI agents have to take to see how skilled they are at shooting. We got to sit in chairs in a room kind of like a theater with a stage, which was surrounded by glass and was a shooting range. The target was attached to the ceiling and could move to different spots automatically! All FBI agents have to take the test four times a year to keep their shooting skills sharp! To continue being agents they have to get almost all their bullets in the target's center.

In conclusion, the field trip was a fun experience.
