Local Police and Fire Department
The grammar school wanted to give back to the first responders this year as part of our reflection of 9/11 and many other ultimate acts of service that Americans have given throughout our history. Grammar schoolers were encouraged to give from their own personal piggy banks to buy lunch for the local police and fire department. It was safe to say the lunch was very well received. The local lieutenant paid a visit in the afternoon and shared his thanks and some of the work he embarks upon in the local community!
American Cornerstone Institute
Veritas Collegiate Academy has forged a strategic partnership with the American Cornerstone Institute, a conservative think tank founded by Dr. Ben Carson, to advance shared values of faith, liberty, community, and life through innovative educational initiatives. This collaboration empowers Veritas's global network of Classical Christian schools by integrating ACI's resources on conservative policy solutions, patriotic curricula like the Little Patriots program, and advocacy against indoctrination in education, ensuring students are equipped with principled leadership skills for future challenges. Together, the organizations aim to foster moral and intellectual growth worldwide, preparing the next generation of leaders rooted in American foundational principles.
