Founders Welcome

​Welcome to Veritas Collegiate Academy! I’m Sean Elgut, principal of our DC Campus, and together with my wife, we founded Veritas in our Chesapeake, Virginia living room in 2003. Driven by a desire to provide our five children with an education that combined academic rigor with a deep love for God and His Word, we embraced the classical Christian model. What began as a small, heartfelt endeavor has flourished into a thriving network of campuses, including our Northern Virginia campus established in 2017 and campuses around the world. Our commitment to fostering intellectual excellence and spiritual growth has led to remarkable achievements, including being ranked the top school in Virginia and the second-best Christian school in America by Niche. We are profoundly grateful for God’s guidance and the dedication of our community in reaching these milestones.
 
Our vision, however, reaches far beyond our current successes. At Veritas Collegiate Academy, we aspire to become the most recognized and successful group of Christian schools in the world over the next decade. With campuses now spanning the globe, we are actively seeking to expand our mission, bringing the transformative power of classical Christian education to more communities. Central to this vision is our pursuit of passionate, high-quality Christian staff who share our commitment to shaping students into thoughtful, virtuous leaders grounded in biblical truth.
