From Coach Miles Tonight was bigger than a scoreboard.
With seven players who have never played varsity basketball before, we stepped into this season knowing we were building from the ground up. We knew it would take patience, repetition, buy-in, and trust. And today, we started to see that work take shape.
Veritas 63 – Life Christian 18
The chemistry looked different tonight, stronger, more intentional. The communication, the effort, the way the guys played for each other instead of next to each other, that’s growth. That’s maturity. That’s the result of weeks of practice, planning, and holding each other accountable.
We are not a finished product. Not even close. We have a long way to go. Mistakes to correct. Conditioning to build. Habits to strengthen. But this first step matters. It shows that this rebuild isn’t just talk, it has promise.
We’re learning to trust the process.
We’re learning to compete with purpose.
We’re learning to be a team.
Brick by brick.
Rep by rep.
Game by game.
Veritas is building something.
Go Spartans.
